The deadline to apply for a whole host of scholarships available from the Fort Atkinson Community Foundation for the 2024-25 school year is coming up on April 1st. These scholarships include those available to graduating seniors at Fort Atkinson High School who are pursuing a voc tech education, AAUW scholarships available to women at all levels, and many scholarships open to undergraduate and graduate students who are former Fort graduates or current residents.
To view the 20 scholarships now accepting applications until 10 p.m. on Monday, April 1st, go to www.fortfoundation.com and follow the links to the scholarship pages. Here potential applicants can view the individual criteria for each scholarship to assess eligibility. The website also will guide them to ‘Fort Scholarships’ — an online application website that will walk them through the application process.
At Fort Scholarships, applicants will be able to create an account and begin working on their application – one application that will be used for all the scholarships for which they choose to apply. The application can be worked on intermittently as the work can be saved and applicants can log in later and pick up where they left off.
