At their final meeting in 2016, the Board of Directors of the Fort Atkinson Community Foundation said goodbye to retiring director, W. Phil Niemeyer. Niemeyer was appointed to the Foundation board in 2011 and served a five-year term culminating with his service as chairman in 2015. Throughout 2016, he has continued to attend and contribute to Foundation meetings in an advisory role as past chairman.
