A special new playground in Jones Park was dedicated on Thursday night, October 15, 2015. Designed expressly for youngsters aged one to five, the new playground was spearheaded by Laura Becker and the Embraced organization to be a visual focal point and support for those families who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss. As part of the evening dedication, a candlelight vigil was held in honor of national Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day.
